The Two Fly Fishing Tournament Details
The Event
This year’s Tournament will be held Wednesday, May 5th through Friday, May 7th, 2010. The 2010 Tournament will have a similar format to previous years. An ice breaker will be held Wednesday evening, May 5th, to distribute rules and boat assignments. Thursday May 6th, after the first day of fishing, you will be treated to an evening barbeque on the river. The Tournament will again be concluded with an Awards Banquet Friday, May 7th, to include dinner, drinks and an auction.
The Fishermen
The 2010 TWO FLY Tournament will consist of 25 two-man teams from the oil and gas industry (50 individuals). Team members will not fish together and will fish different stretches of the North Platte River on two different days. Participants must fish with two flies of their own choosing for the entire day; however, different flies may be chosen for day two. A monetary contribution will be assessed for additional fly changes. Three nights lodging, meals, boats, guides, and extras are included in the $4,000 cost per team.
The Benefactors
This year, 50% of the tournament proceeds will go the The Arc of Natrona County, 35% to Central Wyoming Rescue Mission and the remaining 15% will be donated to the Platte River Revival.

The painting will also provide the artwork for this year’s poster.
